Guest Vintners

Wesley Steffens, previously the cellar master at Harlan Estate, began overseeing the management of Vineyard 7 & 8. Set among some of Spring Mountain's greatest wine-producing vineyards, the quest began to produce world-class wines from this unique piece of land.

  • Luc Morlet, Morlet Family Vineyards
  • St. Helena, California

Luc Morlet’s attention to detail and experience with Bordeaux style wines crafts the highest quality wines from Morlet Family Vineyards. By taking old world principles and adapting them to California, the Morlet style results in wines which are harmonious in their intensity, richness, complexity and refinement

Guest Chef

Chef and owner of Restaurant Eugene in Atlanta has been serving some of the most thoughtful, pleasurable and lovingly prepared food to come to Atlanta in a long time. His food earned him the title of “Iron Chef of Atlanta” and he has completed on the Food Network’s “Iron Chef America”. Chef Hopkins is a two-time James Beard Award nominee, and was crowned by Food and Wine magazine as “Best New Chef” in 2009.

A new and exciting component was added to L’Amour du Vin this year. The Artist’s Luncheon at Blackberry Farm, March 4, 2011, will feature a talk from Guest Artist Sandy Walker.
