Admission is free to the public!
Everyone is invited to enjoy a free day of hands-on art making, artist demonstartions, continuous entertainment on stage, and tours of the artwork on view. The Gee's Bend will be the inspiration for your child to sew cloth blocks together to create their own small quilts. They can cut shapes and designs to place on traditional quilt patterns which can later be turned into a small quilt. Visitors also can decorate quilt patterns using colorful embellishments. There wil be refreshments available for purchase. Admission to the museum and all the activities this day is free, thanks to the generous sponsorship of First Tennessee.
